Computers are great when they are running fast, but as soon as they get a little older, they start running slower and slower until you end up not being able to use the thing for what you need. This is a major problem which luckily has a simple solution that makes your system run like new again…

The problem with most computers is that they end up running incredibly slowly because they have a part of their system which is constantly filling up with corrupted files. this part of your system is called the ‘registry’ and is one of the most important parts of Windows, storing all the files and settings for your computer (everything from your latest emails to your desktop background are kept in the registry). Because it’s such an important part of your PC, Windows is continually using the registry to tell it what to do and how.

Unfortunately, this means that Windows is constantly having to deal with 100’s of registry files, which often makes it confused, corrupting them and making them damaged. When this happens, your computer cannot read the files it needs, which makes it spend longer trying to decipher them, slowing it down. And with more and more files becoming corrupt every day, it’s a huge problem which is just getting worse and worse (which is the main reason why older PCs run slower – they have 1,000’s of these damaged files inside).

Luckily, there’s actually a way to fix this problem and make your computer run like new again. There are tools called ‘registry cleaners’ which you can download from the Internet, that actually clean out the registry for you. They scan every registry file and then fix any of the bad ones that they find inside the database, slowing your computer down. After one scan with a good registry cleaner, you can actually end up speeding up your PC dramatically, making it run like it was new again… but the amount it speeds up by is all determined by how good your registry cleaner is.

28. Make your life your passion. Don’t get stuck being defined by your job. Start a website, get your name out there, volunteer, teach.

29. You’re (probably) not going to die next week. Figure out what you want to do with your life. You don’t want to be 37, broke, unemployed, and still living in your bedroom at mom’s house.

30. Don’t put off being happy. Don’t be the person that says, “I’ll be happy when…” Happiness is only found in the present. Now, today. Try to find some happiness in the journey of life—don’t think about the destination. It’s just a wooden box.

31. Do all the crazy stuff. Take the risks. They’re totally worth it!

32. Whatever you do, believe in yourself. You have untapped potential, and you will accomplish everything you have dreamed about. No one has the right to tell you can’t do something great in your life. Don’t allow them to justify their mediocre lives by destroying your dreams.

33. Improve your skill set. Learn a foreign language. Learn a martial art. Learn web design. Learn piano.

Only 13 percent of more than 2,400 people questioned in the telephone poll ranked being wealthy as most important to them, while 67 percent ranked free time as their top priority, higher than having a successful career, getting married, and having children.

“Everyone wants free time to do the things they want to do, young, middle-aged or old,” said Richard Morin, of the Pew Social & Demographic Trends Project, which conducted the survey.

“So our desire to play unites us.”

The poll also showed that people who were university educated valued career success over wealth, as did middle-aged people.

Not surprisingly, those who didn’t have money, ranked wealth very highly. This included minorities, first generation Americans and less educated people.

The survey also revealed that a disproportionate number of people under the age of 30 and retirees in the group made $20,000 or less a year.

But the emphasis on wealth lessens with age, with younger people putting value on it but hardly any seniors.

“It just diminishes with time as the reality sets in that you would never be rich,” Morin said. “But also, the reality sets in that you don’t have to be rich to lead a very comfortable and fulfilling life.”

While wealth was not at the top of people’s list of priorities, 43 percent still said it was somewhat important.
